Canadian PSW & HCA

A Personal Support Worker (PSW) refresher course is designed for individuals who have previously completed a PSW program or have experience in the field but seek to update and enhance their skills and knowledge. This course focuses on reviewing core competencies, such as personal care, communication, and safety, while also introducing any new practices, technologies, or regulations in the healthcare industry. It aims to ensure that PSWs are up-to-date with the latest standards and best practices, helping them provide high-quality care to their clients. The refresher course may include both theoretical learning and practical sessions, allowing participants to refine their skills and gain confidence in their abilities. It is particularly beneficial for those re-entering the workforce or wishing to maintain their certification and improve their career prospects.

Duration: 8 Weeks - 40 Hours

Option for volunteer work hiring by Lynn Valley Care Centre

Course based on Canadian standard and regulations

Can register for Emergency First Aid and CPR C course by Red Cross Canada during, before or after completion of the PSW Course.

Can register for Patient Hoist and Lifting Course Certified by the Sales Centre. 

Upon completion of the necessary skills, participants have a chance of employment with Arian Homecare Corporation as per demand and meeting requirements.*
